AFRICAN 1st SERVICE SUNDAY 9.00am Venue:Uni-Tech Bldg55 Toh Guan Rd #03-01
Speaker: Ps. Daniel KisaSermon: The Heart of a Father
For sons to be manifested, there must first be fathers! We live in a generation that cries out for the revealing of true spiritual fathers. Most of us have or have had biological fathers who have left us with profound memories and lessons in life; but what is the place of a spiritual father? And what are the traits of one? God is the ultimate example of what a perfect "Father" should be. We need the "Heart of the Father" to be able to father healthy spiritual and natural children.

The Greek verb "athleo" means to compete in a contest. "If anyone competes as an athlete, he doesn't win the prize unless he competes according to the rules. And, everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever." Venue: Cornerstone Main Audi
Speaker: Ps. Yang Tuck Yoong
Sermon: The Scourge of IdolatryIf you ever study the history of the Children of Israel in the Old Testament, it is one painful journey. You will discover tragedy upon tragedy and much of this really was the result of one major sin that the Children of Israel succumbed continually to; and it was the sin of idolatry. It plagued Israel all through her history, right from her early beginnings up to the captivity in Babylon, where once and for all, God was going to deal with this issue of idolatry. What are the implications for us in our generation? How do we deal with issues in our own lives?
