1st & 2nd service • 8.30 & 10.30amSpeaker: Ps. Yang Tuck YoongSermon: Beyond Your Wildest Dreams!
One of the great lessons we must learn in our earthly pilgrimage is the lesson of coming to the place where we totally trust in the Lord for every aspect our lives, whether it is in our finances, or for our families; whether it is in our careers, and especially in our ministries. This is so basic to the Christian life: Do we trust the Lord enough to place everything into His Hands? Because if we can learn this lesson, He will bring us beyond our wildest dreams. An important message, not to be missed!

Speaker: Ps. Hazeil MinozaSermon: Growing in Maturity (part 4) - Making Your Faith Real
The apostle James exhorts us not to merely listen to the word and so deceive ourselves, but to seek to put action to the word of truth we receive. Many people are quick with their words quoting Scripture after Scripture, but their lives do not display what God's Word says. At the end of the day, it's not the hearing but the DOING that matters if we want to make our faith real.
10.30amBURMESESERVICEVenue: Level 3 Foyer Creche
Speaker: Ps. Saw ThihaSermon: In His Glory
The Apostle Paul encouraged the believers to imitate his example, as he imitated Christ. As our lives are transformed in His glory, the veils that enshroud us removed and we become reflectors of who He is. Being disciples of Christ, we must examine ourselves whether we are in His glory or not.

Speaker: Ps. John EkundayoSermon: The Road to Rehoboth (part 5) - Peace Preceding Progress
In continuing with our series on “The Road to Rehoboth”, we see Isaac depicted as a man of peace. The Bible makes it clear that we should follow peace with all men and holiness without which no man shall see the Lord. In getting to our place of peace and prosperity, we need to persevere when we encounter oppositions, persecutions, challenges, mis-representations and false accusations. Ultimately, it is the Lord who will defend and deliver us and bring us to our Rehoboth – the place of enlargement.

1st & 2nd service • 8.30 & 10.30amSpeaker: Ps. Yang Tuck YoongSermon: The Key to Multiplication
In John 15:16, the Lord said these words, "I chose you and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit and that your fruit would remain". The bottom line is – Fruit glorifies God and the lack of it does not glorify Him. We're expected to bring forth fruit, but are we truly fruitful? Is it possible that there's a lot of activity in the church without having fruit? Is it possible to have results without producing good fruit? An important message, not to be missed!

10.30amFILIPINO SERVICEVenue: Theatrette 1 Odeon Katong
Speaker: Ps. Hazeil MinozaSermon: Growing in Maturity (part 3) - Dealing with Anger
It is a sobering thought that Jesus placed anger in the same category as murder. Anger is one of the deadliest sins… it provokes torture and it knows no limits as it leads to vengeance. The apostle James reminds us to be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger; for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God. In the next part of the "Growing in Maturity" series, we look at the subject of anger and how we can deal with it and not allow it to overcome us.

10.30amBURMESESERVICEVenue: Level 3 Foyer Creche
Speaker: Ps. Saw ThihaSermon: Endurance
The apostle Peter reminded us that as we seek to be partakers of God's divine nature, perseverance is an essential must-have! We are to base ourselves on the Word of God to overcome all problems and difficulties. There is much we can learn from Joseph's experience as a servant in his master's house and the wilderness experience of Israelites after they came out from Egypt.

2.00pmAFRICAN SERVICEVenue: Theatrette 1Odeon Katong
Speaker: Ps. John EkundayoSermon: The Road to Rehoboth (part 4 of 5) - Seed to Break the Siege
It came to a point in a time of famine, when Isaac sowed his precious seeds in Gerar. To many, it may seem foolish, but God caused him to reap a harvest of 100-fold! In getting to a place of enlargement, Rehoboth, we need to sow sacrificially, even in times of famine.

Speaker: Ibu ErnawatiSermon: Prove Your Love!
God has always required a 'heart' relationship with His people. In His final discourse with the disciples before going to the cross, Christ emphasized the inseparable relationship between love and obedience. In simple terminology, He is saying, 'Prove your love!'. How are we to prove our love to Him? Can love be forced, verified or quantified?

Speaker: Ps. Saw ThihaSermon: Kingdom Mindset series (final part): Growing Under Authority
As described in the book of Acts, those who repented and believed in the Lord Jesus devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching. They grew under the leadership of the elders, pastors and overseers. Staying under authority is an essential discipline and mandate to follow if we desire to mature in our walk with God.

The apostle Paul had one thing to declare at the pinnacle of his ministry – "To Know Christ". What profound thoughts to reflect upon. Knowing Jesus is all that counts! When we stop pursuing, desiring and seeking Him, our vision of life dims and we drift. The economic recession is a wake-up call that should drive us to seek Him and come into a deeper and stronger relationship with the One who holds all things together by the power of His Word.

Every father's desire is for his child to grow up in maturity over time. Likewise, our heavenly Father is looking for sons and daughters in the house; those who have exercised themselves in the things of the spirit. As the apostle reiterates, It's not in the mere hearing, but the doing of God's Word that will enable us to go on to maturity.

Speaker: Ps. Saw ThihaSermon: Kingdom Mindset series (pt3): Simple but Powerful
The early disciples lived simple yet powerful lives, evidenced by the effectiveness of their ministry. They could not boast of impressive church buildings, professionally-trained clergy, hymnals, and not to mention the technology and gadgets of our day. Yet, their lives and testimonies have left an indelible mark on our world. It’s time to unclutter and rediscover the beauty of simplicity.
1.00pmYOUTH SERVICEVenue: Main AuditoriumOdeon Katong
Speaker: Isaiah FadzlinSermon: The Stand
Edmund Burke said, “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” The Bible and history are filled with stories of people who refused to remain silent or bow down to popular demand or convenience so that evil wouldn't triumph. “The Stand” is a message about making your convictions known to a world filled injustice, poverty and exploitation. Catch a glimpse of the heart of Jesus, and the stand He wants us to take.
2.00pmAFRICAN SERVICEVenue: Theatrette 1Odeon Katong
Speaker: Pastor John EkundayoSermon: The Road to Rehoboth (part 3 of 5) – 2 Companions
In the third installment of this series, we see there are two companions on this great journey to Rehoboth – The Place of Enlargement. Gen 26 tells us that Isaac had to remain “for a long time” in Gerar. In the journey of life, we need to mix "faith" with “patience” (Heb 6:12) in order to get to Rehoboth and enjoy the fullness of what God has in store for us.
This Week February 7SATURDAY SERVICEA Saturday evening service of Cornerstone Community Church Every Saturday, 5-7pm @ Katong Audi #02-34 IntegritySpeaker: Ps. Yang Tuck YoongIn this dark and corrupt world that we live in, the man who walks in his integrity shines brightly. Walking in integrity is certainly costly in our day and age; but the lack of it is even more so. In Matthew 16:26, Jesus said, "What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul?" How many of us are willing to lose our own souls just so that we can make a little more money? How many of us are willing to tell a lie just so that we can secure a deal? When we choose worldly gain over personal integrity, we hurt and invariably sell out our own soul.
