Speaker: Ps. Saw ThihaSermon: The Spirit-filled Life series
The Word of God tells us that we've been chosen to be partakers of His divine nature. As sons and daughters of God, we are to put away our carnal nature and build our foundation on none other than Jesus Christ, the Chief Cornerstone. In the final part of the "Spirit-filled Life" series, we take a look at 1 Pet 2:4-5; the calling of every believer to build, minister and worship.

1.00pmYOUTH SERVICEVenue: Main AuditoriumOdeon Katong
Speaker: Ps. Lim Lip YongSermon: Dare to Look at Pain
The history of mankind is filled with accounts of atrocities, calamities, pain and lives lost, and this is more so in our present century than any other. From the Great Wars, to famines of massive scale, to the horrors of the Holocaust, we see pain and suffering etched on the album of the history of the 21st century. This is not something to be shunned and avoided, but instead, God wants us to do something about it. It's time for us to shake off our apathy and embrace a higher call and power.

2.00pmAFRICAN SERVICEVenue: Theatrette 1Odeon Katong
Guest Speaker: Ps. Chidi Umeh-UjubuonnuSermon: Living Through Crisis
We live in an era and age of turbulence, but there are great secrets hidden in the Word of God that give us what I call "the recipe to living through crisis". Life will be full of turmoil, but God's Word promises grace for us to live above the storms and give us immunity. A look at the life of Isaac shows how we too can brave every storm in life and emerge an overcomer.

1st & 2nd service • 8.30 & 10.30am Speaker: Ps. Yang Tuck Yoong
A FAITHFUL MAN, WHO CAN FIND?One of the signs of the last days is a dramatic increase in betrayal, which is a direct result of lawlessness. The love of many will grow cold and this will cause many to be disloyal, even in the Church. Is it possible to be immune to this spirit of betrayal? Is there a safe haven for us? Come and find out this Sunday.

10.30amMANDARINSERVICEVenue: #02-34Katong Audi
Speaker: Ps. Samuel WongSermon: Making a Stand (part 2)
We're in the midst of a great battle. This is not a battle against flesh and blood but against the principalities and powers. We know the outcome of the war because the Bible already declared the end of all things. Jesus reigns! The question is – Who will reign with him? Will you?In Eph 6, we're told t to stand against the wiles of the devil, withstand in the evil day, therefore stand. Standing is the determinant for victory. Will you start standing by making a stand for Jesus today!

10.30amFILIPINO SERVICEVenue: Theatrette 1 Odeon Katong

Speaker: Ps. Hazeil MinozaSermon: The Power of ReleasingJesus lived by the principle of sacrifice when He was on this earth. It is the same principle as giving or releasing. He said that if you lose your life, you will find it. If you save your life, you will lose it. The principle of "saving yourself" is the principle of the wicked one, the devil. The principle of pouring, sacrificing, and giving comes from God, who has Himself demonstrated it all for us through giving His only Son.

10.30amBURMESESERVICEVenue: Level 3 Foyer
Speaker: Isaiah FadzlinSermon: From Knowledge to Knowing
Many times, we know about God and His ways through books we read, the messages on Sundays and through the testimonies of others. These are definitely awesome, but the greater blessing and power comes in knowing God and not just knowing about God. This message is all about having a head-on collision with God as we go beyond just knowing about Him to knowing Him.

1.00pmYOUTH SERVICEVenue: Main AuditoriumOdeon Katong
Guest Speaker: Ps. Paul Geerling
Paul Geerling is a passionate communicator with a prophetic edge to his ministry. Paul, along with his wife Jo, pioneered Metro Church Brisbane – one church meeting in four locations – which in a short time has seen incredible growth. He is the National Youth Alive Director and the Director of Youth Alive Queensland, an organisation which is seeing tens of thousands of young people attending its evangelistic events each year. His down-to-earth preaching and reliance on the Holy Spirit have made him a sought-after speaker at churches and conferences around the world.

2.00pmAFRICAN SERVICEVenue: Theatrette 1Odeon Katong
Speaker: Ps. John EkundayoSermon: Your Word & Your World (part 2)The Psalmist says, "God has spoken once, twice have I heard this, that power belongs to God" (Ps 62:11). This week, we want to emphasize the importance of speaking back what God says about us in His Word, or to us individually. If He says one thing to you, then say it back to Him. We should learn to boldly declare His Word, and very soon we shall see our world responding to His Word, will and way.

There's so much more to speaking in tongues than just praying in an unknown language. There's a divine connection that releases to us visions, dreams, and unlocks our understanding to the realm of the spirit. We speak mysteries to God and build our most holy faith in the process as well. Come discover the power of the unknown language.A message not to miss!

1st & 2nd service • 8.30 & 10.30am Guest Speaker: Bob Mendelsohn
Bob Mendelsohn is the leader of Jews for Jesus' work in Sydney, Australia. He grew up in an Orthodox Jewish family but became a college drop-out when he decided to look for the meaning of life in the counterculture of the '60s. He found meaning and relevance in Jesus which caused him much trouble at home. But he says, "It was worth the cost." Bob has worked for Jews for Jesus since 1979, and served as the leader of our work in New York City and Washington DC before moving to Sydney in 1998. Bob and his wife Patty both graduated from the University of Kansas and Fuller Seminary. The Mendelsohns live in Sydney with their three children, Nate, Jessica and Anne.

10.30amBAHASA SERVICEVenue: Theatrette 2Odeon Katong
Guest Speaker: Ibu ErnawatiSermon: When God Seems Silent
It's easy to worship God when things are going great in your life, but circumstances are not always pleasant. What do you do when God seems distant? Will you continue to love, trust, obey and worship Him, even when you do not sense His Presence or the visible evidence of His work in your life?

10.30amFILIPINO SERVICEVenue: Theatrette 1 Odeon Katong
Speaker: Melanie CabaltejaSermon: Flee, Follow, FightThe Apostle Paul gives Timothy three keys to being a good witness in 1 Timothy 6:11-12 – to flee, follow and fight. To flee from the love of money and youthful lusts, to follow and pursue after righteousness and to fight the good fight of faith. Each situation calls for a different response, and a wrongful application will result in undesirable consequences.

10.30amBURMESESERVICEVenue: Level 3 Foyer
Speaker: Saw ThihaSermon: Spirit-filled Life series (part 3)
In this continuation on the "Spirit-filled Life" series, we look at the need of having new wineskins. Jesus Himself said that God will not pour out the new wine without us first having new wineskins. What is this wineskin that He is referring to? What are the areas of our lives that need to be adjusted so that we can receive the fullness of God's Spirit in these last days?

1.00pmYOUTH SERVICEVenue: Main AuditoriumOdeon Katong
Speaker: Ps. Yang Tuck YoongSermon: Breaking Out of the Course of this World
We're told by the Apostle Paul that when we were still sinners and dead in our trespasses, we lived and walked according to the course of this world which is controlled by the Prince of this world, Satan. The tragedy is: many Christians, after becoming saved, continue to live in this world, obeying its dictates and following its desires. But the Lord desires that we break free from this "course" and begin to have a different kingdom mindset. This is a call to break free once and for all.

2.00pmAFRICAN SERVICEVenue: Theatrette 1Odeon Katong
Speaker: Ps. John EkundayoSermon: Your Word & Your WorldOur words have the creative power to shape and form our world in the same way God created the heaven and the earth – by His infallible Word. The question is – what are the words that we're sowing into our now and future? What are we saying to ourselves? Remember our thoughts will give birth to our words. It's high time we imbibe God's language; saying what He says about us, our families, our ministries, careers and businesses! Our word can indeed create our world.
