About Heidi & Rolland BakerHeidi & Rolland Baker started Iris Ministries in 1980 and spent their first 12 years as missionaries in different parts of Asia. In 1992, they moved to London to do their PhD in Systematic Theology at King’s College and at the same time, they planted a church in London reaching out to the homeless, drug addicts and the alcoholics that lived on the streets in Central London. In 1995, they finally moved to Mozambique where they took over a horribly-dilapidated and neglected “orphanage.” They began with 80 children and this number quickly grew to 320. Despite being chased off the orphanage compound by the government, having their lives threatened, forbidden to worship and pray, and facing numerous other obstacles, the ministry has continued to grow and gain momentum. To-date, Iris Ministries has over 5,000 churches in Mozambique and the surrounding countries. At the same time, the ministry has 128 missionaries serving in 11 countries all over the world. Heidi and Rolland express in their lives a radical love for the lost and the hurting and as a result, unusual and outstanding miracles, signs and wonders follow their ministry worldwide. Their lives are lived unreservedly for the Lord and they bear a message that needs to be heard in the Body of Christ today.Note: Please note that all services this weekend will be cancelled for the Combined Service this Sunday at the Fairmont. There will be no early morning prayer on Saturday as well.

Saturday service • 5pm
Venue: Cornerstone Main Audi
Speaker: Asst Ps. Cameron Walcott
Sermon: Being MessengersAs believers we have a vital role to play in winning the Saviour's reward. This is a tremendous opportunity, but also a great responsibility. God wants us to live missional lives, with a focus on bringing unbelievers into His Kingdom. Come and hear keys on how we can be an effective messenger of the King of kings.

Sunday 1st & 2nd service • 8.30 & 10.30amVenue: Cornerstone Main AudiSpeaker: Ps. Yang Tuck YoongSermon: Of Kings & RoyaltyThere is something very noble in our new birth. The moment we are born again, what we have failed to realise is that we were also adopted into an amazing family; a royal family. We become children of the King Himself and running in our veins is royal blood. This is a truth we have not fully understood or fully discovered, but the more we begin to understand our calling; the more dramatic the change in our behavior is going to be. This is a message not to be missed!

Speaker: Peter SamSermon: The Making of An OvercomerMatthew 16:13-18 shows the Lord making mention about Peter, the rock. Soon after, Peter goes on an offense unto the Lord and made blunders one after another; certainly not what one would consider an overcomer. But Jesus prayed and interceded for him, turning the overwhelmed Peter into the overcomer he was meant to be. The truth is, we are made to be overcomers – when we allow God to change us from the inside out, just as Peter was transformed to become one of the sterling apostles.

How many harvest events can we do in a year? What if evangelism meant just being yourself? What if God’s intention was for us to be naturally supernatural and supernaturally natural? In our new series called "Shine", we will be talking about "Kindness" this week. May God move mightily upon our hearts!
