10.30amBAHASAINDONESIANSERVICEVenue: Theatrette 2Odeon Katong
Speaker: Ibu SusanniSermon: Our New Character in Christ series: Letting Go of Our Rights
The sound foundation of any cell group is a good solid and healthy fellowship with the Lord and His people. As we gather, we tend to bring in our agenda into any group meeting, but the Lord wants to say: "If you lift ME up, and I shall draw ALL men unto ME.". The first step, therefore, in welcoming His agenda, instead of ours, in a cell group or any fellowship, brings forth His Presence. And come to think of it, that's all we need – His tangible Presence.
10.30amFILIPINO SERVICEVenue: Theatrette 1 Odeon Katong
Speaker: Ps. Hazeil MinozaSermon: True Liberty
Satan’s one desire is to bring man into bondage, but God’s Word tells us, “If the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.” The world holds a view of liberty which contradicts the Bible and propagates careless living. Paul exhorts us in Galatians 5:13 that we have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh. Man is simply unable to handle unlimited freedom and that is why God will not free us from all our difficult circumstances immediately.
