Saturday service • 5pmSunday 1st & 2nd service • 8.30 & 10.30amVenue: Cornerstone Main AudiSpeaker: Ps. Yang Tuck YoongSermon: The Power of the Spoken Word
I was on the plane earlier this year and I was watching one of the movies that were being offered by the airlines, a show called "Ink-heart". The story was about a man who had the unusual ability that when he read a story book or a fairy tale aloud, he could bring the characters to real life. In other words, what was fictitious, after he read it, became reality. And God then began speaking into my heart on the power of the spoken word, of us having the same ability to bring to reality the things that are not. A fascinating message to make us a truly prophetic people.

The Parable of the Sower gives us a picture of four different grounds representing four different conditions of hearts. Each ground has the same kind of seed falling on it, but the produce of the seed is dependent on the condition of the ground. May our hearts be fertile soil for God's Word, so it will bring forth good fruit in our lives.
1.30pmBURMESESERVICEVenue: #02-24
Speaker: Ps. Rupert LimSermon: Do Not Shrink Back!
The writer of Hebrews exhorts us to hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, especially as we see the Day approaching. It is increasingly evident that we are living in such a time. We must not be swayed by the events that are taking place around us nor by the intense spiritual opposition that comes our way. How do we not shrink back? How can we hold on? Let the Word of God inspire, encourage and strengthen us to continue running this race with endurance and to finish well.
1.30pmYOUTH SERVICEVenue: Main AuditoriumOdeon Katong
Speaker: Ps. Paul Liu JiancongSermon: Cling On To Your CallingPaul clung on to his calling. He fulfilled his God-given purpose and lived his life to the fullest. Isn’t life meaningless until we discover our purpose? Purpose tells you that "you are special". Purpose focuses you on your future; it brings meaning to your past. Purpose maximizes your today; and purpose helps you endure training. It's time to rediscover our purpose and cling on to our calling!
2.00pmAFRICAN SERVICEVenue: Theatrette 1Odeon Katong
Speaker: Ps. Daniel KisaSermon: The Spirit of Love, Power & a Sound Mind
Fear is one of the greatest weapons of the enemy against the mighty. The Word of God is constantly keeping us on the guard against fear. The spirit of love, power, and a sound mind is what God wants to give you in exchange for the spirit of fear.
7.30pmTELUGU SERVICEVenue: Uni-Tech Bldg55 Toh Guan Rd#03-01
Speaker: Ps. Nelson DavidSermon: Have Nothing To Do With Them
The condition of the world we live in today can be rightly called "terrible times" (2 Tim. 3:1). The Apostle Peter cautioned the Church in his time to "save yourselves from this corrupt generation" (Acts 2:40) due to the pollution of sin. Despite this degradation, God is expecting His Church to live faithfully under the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit. How then can we, as God's chosen people, live a life completely consecrated to Him, having nothing to do with the worldly passions which encircle us?
