Sunday 2nd service • 10.30am Venue: Cornerstone Main AudiGuest Speaker: Jason WongSermon: The Lord's Prayer
Most of us are familiar with the Lord's Prayer. We many have also memorised it since young. But why did Jesus leave us this prayer? Why did He say, "This is how you should pray."? Is it so that we can memorise it? Is it so that we can repeatedly say the prayer? Or is there more to it than it seems? Could it be that Jesus had hidden the secrets of His Kingdom inside this prayer… secrets that are waiting to be revealed?
About the speaker:Jason Wong is currently a Director with MCYS, the Ministry of Community, Youth and Sports. Prior to his secondment to MCYS, he was the Deputy Director/Chief of Staff of the Singapore Prisons Service and was instrumental in starting the Yellow Ribbon Project - a programme to help ex-convicts gain useful tools of trade and reintegrate society. He is married with two children.
